K53 English Test FAQs

In South Africa, the DLTC requires a pass in all three sections independently. If you get 28/28 on Rules and 28/28 on Signs, but only 5/8 on Controls (pass mark is 6/8), you fail the entire exam and must rebook.
Virtually all modern Driver Licence Testing Centres in South Africa use computerized touchscreen terminals. Paper tests are only used when backup power or computers are completely unavailable.
At the DLTC centre, you select your test language at the start before logging into the workstation. On K53 Copilot, you can toggle between English, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sesotho, and Afrikaans at any moment with one click.
