In South Africa, failing your learner's test doesn't just hurt your pride — it costs you time, money, and weeks of waiting.
Booking slots at DLTCs across Gauteng, Western Cape, and KZN are notoriously scarce. If you fail, you wait up to two months for the next slot.
Another ~R150 re-booking fee, another optometrist eye test, another certified ID copy, and another full morning standing in line at 6:00 AM.
You must pass all 3 sections independently. Getting 5/8 on vehicle controls or 22/28 on road signs means instant total failure.
